Our Story

Finding My Aim in the Middle of Nowhere

Growing up in the middle of a small Texas town, I discovered an enduring passion for shooting and archery from an early age. Armed with a .22 and a pocket full of ammo, I spent countless hours honing my skills on my family’s property, dreaming of hunting and perfecting my aim.

The Precision Rifle Series Hook

In 2017, I stumbled upon a long-range precision shooting range here in North Texas and was instantly hooked. Participating in my first PRS Match with basic gear, I realized the profound depth and intricacies of the sport. Despite initial struggles and being a newcomer, my determination to excel never wavered, leading me to research and invest in the right equipment. However, when that precision shooting range closed in 2019, I faced a turning point – the community needed a new place to gather, practice, and compete.

Dreams and Dilemmas: The Long Road to Gravestone

Initially, my dream to create an epic shooting range was frustrated by several unsuccessful attempts to acquire land. Balancing a high-pressure job and competing in matches, I wrestled with the decision to either focus on my stable career or pursue my passion for creating a premier shooting range.

Taking the Leap: Turning Vision into Reality

By early 2024, I left the company I had been with for years. With unwavering support from my wife, we decided to go for it. Our combined resolve and strategic search led us to the perfect property—an opportunity we seized, despite it initially being off the market. Together, we decided to make this a family project and get our kids involved as well. We hope that they see with hard work and dedication that dreams do come true. Our dream is to build a range where families can come together, enjoy the outdoors, and bring up the next generation of shooters.
