Gravestone Precision RCR
The Cadre Range Complexity Rating (RCR) assesses each location’s shooting difficulty based on terrain features, position challenges, and wind conditions. It evaluates both natural and artificial obstacles while factoring in sustained winds and complex environmental patterns that affect precision shooting.
The Cadre Positional Challenge Matrix – Gravestone Precision
Scale 4: Comprehensive Integrated Terrain (Peak Flexibility)
-
Combines natural terrain and sophisticated manmade objects
- Characteristics:
-
Multiple terrain types seamlessly integrated
-
Permanent and movable positional props
-
Minimal setup/teardown requirements
-
Allows for complex, dynamic training scenarios
-
The Cadre Wind Engagement Complexity Scale (WECS) – Gravestone Precision
Scale 4: Extreme Wind Conditions (Severe Environmental Challenge) Challenging wind with various terrain features/Typical wind is 10-15mph but shooting azimuth varies over 150* to allow multiple wind angles
- Wind Characteristics:
-
Consistently over 20 mph during training days
-
Gusts reaching 30-40 mph
- Complex wind dynamics including:
-
Cross canyon winds
-
Significant uphill and downhill wind patterns
-
Extreme vertical dispersion effects
-
-
Requires advanced wind reading and compensation skills
-
Most challenging wind environment for precision shooting
-
